Alarms Network is built on a simple premise: that timely, clear, and accessible emergency information can make a meaningful difference. Not by replacing official emergency systems — but by making the information those systems generate more understandable and accessible to more people.

The platform is designed around internationally recognised principles for people-centred multi-hazard early warning systems — turning complex emergency data into information people can understand and act on.

Human-centred by design
The end user — not the data source — is the primary design consideration. Every feature exists to help a real person understand what is happening and what to do.
Transparent by default
Sources, severity, and uncertainty are always visible. Trust is earned through clarity, not through bold claims.
Accessible without compromise

Emergency information design is guided by internationally recognised principles — UNDRR multi-hazard frameworks, CAP protocol architecture, WCAG accessibility standards, and people-centred communication design.

Separate signal from noise
We believe in the absolute separation of life-safety alerts from commercial content. Alert fatigue is a real and dangerous problem. The platform is built to reduce unnecessary noise, not add to it.

Accessibility is baseline
Emergency information is designed to reach people of different abilities, languages, device types, and technical literacy. Accessibility is not a feature — it is a design requirement from the first line of code.
